Lars Rank – Krus

Lars Rank trained as a visual artist at the Jutland Art Academy in 2001, and for many years has worked in a cross-field between art and design, where ceramics have played a central role. He explored the Japanese pottery tradition, and this left clear traces in the products.

The new mugs in 5 different colours: light blue, dark green, dark brown, yellow and a beige that turns rust red on the edges. All mugs are cast in a beige stoneware clay containing dark charmotte and lava. These elements give the clay the characteristic small brown spots and help give life and depth to the glazes.
